Maker Project Activity Rules

Smart production (modification) based on open source hardware

The "Maker Project" is a computer-assisted design and creation by participants to create works that embody multidisciplinary applications and maker culture, and communicate and display them.

(1) Project settings

Primary Group (Grade 4 +): Creative Intelligence

Junior High School Group: Creative Intelligence

General high school group (including secondary vocational): creative intelligence

(2) Competition method

on-site production.Students use the equipment provided by the organizing committee within the specified time to create intelligent physical works through computer programming, hardware construction, three-dimensional modeling design, etc., such as fun electronic devices, interactive multimedia, intelligent machines, etc.Encourage students to combine learning and life experience to complete the work, fully reflect the maker culture and interdisciplinary application, fully demonstrate its established functions, and exchange and display.

Activity flow:

(1) On-site training

On-site training on maker basics, on-site task content, production precautions, etc.

Discipline.

(2) On-site design and production

① Team up on-site: Students team up on-site.

② Announcement task: On-site announcement of the task theme and production requirements.

③ On-site creation: According to on-site tasks, through team division and collaboration, co-creation is completed

A piece of work.

(3) On-site exhibitions and exchangesEach team can showcase their work in a variety of ways, with professional instructors tailored to students

Give guidance on the performance of each link.Experience exchange and interactive learning between teams.

(3) Evaluation indicators

1. Ideological and normative

(1) The work fits the theme, and the content is healthy and upward

(2) The design plan is complete, including the function, structure, use of related devices, etc.

(3) Specifications for the use of tools and related equipment in the production process; there are detailed equipment lists, work source code annotation specifications

(4) The degree of effectiveness of the realization of each function; the degree of productization of the work, including the appearance, packaging, and the overall firmness, human-computer interaction and other interface friendly, etc.

2. Innovative

(1) Function, structure, etc. are novel and have certain practical value

(2) The implementation method of functional details is novel; functional design can break through the application habits of original components

3. Artistry

(1) The design is aesthetic and combines aesthetics with practicality

(2) The work has a certain imagination and personality, and can express the author's design philosophy

4. Technical

(1) Reasonable overall structure design; with a certain degree of functionality and complexity

(2) Hardware functions implemented using related components have certain scientificity, complexity, and technical content.

(3) The software design function is clear, the structure is reasonable, the code is optimized, and it is easy to debug.5. Team Demonstration and Collaboration

(1) It can well show the design ideas, production process and functional realization of the work

(2) Clear and reasonable division of labor in teamwork; full participation and collaboration of team members

(4) Relevant requirements

1. Event Registration

Each municipal primary school, junior high school, and high school group (including middle school) is limited to 4 people, and each participating student is limited to 1 instructor.

2. Active equipment

The equipment required for the event (computers, program software, simple tools, simple consumables, etc.) is provided by the participants themselves.

Event equipment, venues and related equipment are provided by the Organizing Committee.(Electronic maker kit, laser cutting machine, woodworking lathe, 3D printer, 3D printing consumables, wood board consumables, paper consumables, etc.)
