The science innovation project competition encourages students to use scientific methods to explore the problems around them and cultivate innovative spirit and practical ability. Entries can be scientific inquiry, technological invention, or scientific practice reports. Project application, research report and display materials shall be submitted for project application. The review is divided into two stages: the initial evaluation is conducted by experts to review the application materials in writing and select the shortlisted projects; the final evaluation adopts the form of on-site defense, and the contestants must present the project results within 10 minutes, and then answer the judges for 5 minutes to ask questions. The evaluation criteria include: 30 points for innovation, 30 points for scientificity, 20 points for practicality, and 20 points for presentation. Individual projects and collective projects are reviewed separately, and there are no more than 3 members of the collective project. Winning projects will have the opportunity to be nominated for the International Youth Science and Innovation Competition.
