In order to promote Chinese traditional culture, enhance the application and dissemination of the Chinese language in international exchanges, continuously improve the level and application ability of overseas Chinese students in science and culture, art, modern science and technology, and provide a platform for Chinese primary and secondary school students living and studying abroad to study, it is planned to carry out the "Global Chinese Youth Competition Activity" (hereinafter referred to as the "Activity") on a global scale. The "Activity" is funded and implemented by the Organizing Committee of the Global Chinese Youth Competition Activity.
She will surely become a feast of extracurricular activities for Chinese teenagers and students from all over the world.
1. Purpose: To promote traditional Chinese culture, promote the application, communication and improvement of the Chinese language, improve the scientific literacy of teenagers, primary and secondary school students, and demonstrate the ease of learning, diligence, wisdom and spirit of cooperation of Chinese students.

2. The official language of the competition and all test questions of the competition are abbreviated in Chinese or Chinese traditional.
III. Scope of participation: 1. All primary and secondary school students studying abroad (including all students with overseas passports and who have obtained residency); 2. Foreign primary and secondary school students of foreign nationality but who are interested in Chinese; 3. Students studying in mainland China are welcome to participate.IV. Age Requirements for Participating Students: All school and non-school students under the age of 20 are divided into different school segments (not according to the actual school grade) according to their age, and their age is calculated from the date of birth to September 1 of the competition year.

VI. Event and Competition Rules
All items are set to Primary and Second Round, with 40% of the first round results and 60% of the second round results counted as total results, ranked in order of total results.
The first round is mainly written examinations, all of which are objective questions. The exam content is the basic knowledge that the project should have, with a full score of 100 points and a time of 90 minutes.
The second round is the featured content of each project, which is determined according to the project, and is scored out of 100 points.Chinese, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and programming are subjective questions.

VII. Award Settings
According to the situation of students going abroad, the Organizing Committee also encourages more students to participate in the competition activities. All projects set two difficulty levels, A and B, and students can choose the appropriate difficulty level according to their actual situation. The Organizing Committee sets awards respectively.
According to the entries, set the team award, and set the team award for all entries in units, and the team award is sorted by the total points obtained by all projects of the group.Organizational awards are given to groups and individuals who actively participate and organise participation in global competitions, depending on the organisation's work.
Each student can participate in up to three individual competitions, and students who participate in all three major competitions will be awarded the Almighty Award based on the sum of their total scores.
VIII. Organization and Registration
The Organizing Committee encourages all groups, schools and individuals to sign up and participate voluntarily. Depending on the venue and the size of the competition, registration may end after the number of students and students reaches certain data.

IX. Place of Competition
According to the international situation and the situation of each country (region), the organizing committee selects cities in different countries (or regions) for each session.
The venue of the "First (2023) Global Chinese Primary and Secondary School Students Competition" is temporarily located in Athens, Greece. The Organizing Committee sends invitations to each participating student, instructor and parent to assist in obtaining visas for each participating country (region) to Greece.
